Project 1.
Pepper grinder

  1. The design looks cool and interesting. A good twist to the conventional everyday pepper grinder. Your design and construction of the model was absolutely fabulous. I could have easily seen your product being sold on the market already, all it really needed was the crushing feature and you would be set.

The only criticism I would have probably given you is more so just on the model construction. The holes or direction in which the pepper would fall through should have been indicated or shown. Just from purely on your model standpoint, it could suggest that a lot of the pepper could get stuck in between the curved arc between the white and black part. People's hand sizes could be a problem with the grip on your design too, but in most cases the average adult hand size should be ok I guess.

All in all, great design, I loved the feel of it!

  2. Absolutely amazing, as it comprehends the ideas between being primitive and also being Modern. It also demonstrates a refined organic pebble shape that fits most hands and at the same time retaining that natural and water buffered look. Only thing your product needs is straight forward visual language to tell the user where the pepper comes out.

  3. The pebble-like design really connects with the user's values and their keenness to help out the environment but at the same time not get their hands too dirty. I really like its organic shape and the way that you have to interact with it to actually grind the pepper. My only gripe was that I didn't know which way was up, but maybe in the real product that wouldn't be a problem as the holes for the pepper to fall out would exist. Also, how do you fill the grinder with peppercorns?

  4. I thought your product was incredibly beautiful! I thought it was so beautiful I would even be willing to buy it just to sit displayed on a table. Your ergonomic design of a pepper grinder is highly original. My only query is, how would you re-fill the grinder? Other than that, a job WELL DONE!

  5. When I see your product I get a sense of calmness and relaxation which is exactly what I would want when I'm using a pepper grinder. Its unique and simple organic curved shape allows it to be distinguished from other eating utensils when placed on dining tables. But yes when I first saw it i didn't know which way it would come out but of course it would be clearly shown if the product was to be manufactured. And like Nina said, how do you re-fill the grinder?
